Have a Stainless 2019!
Now that Christmas has been and gone and the New Year is in full swing, it's time to get busy! There's now no longer any excuse to put off all of those DIY jobs you promised yourself you'd do “once Christmas is out of the way” so why not start a fresh new year off with some fresh new goodies for your DIY kit.
The BS Fixings website is your one-stop shop for a comprehensive array of DIY materials, components, tools and ancillaries, from toolbox essentials like stainless steel nails and screws to specialised products designed to give professional results on projects such as gutter and chimney protection, roofing repairs, cavity wall construction and bird prevention.
Any DIYer worth their salt will at some point have used angle brackets. They're well renowned for their versatility, providing a reliable connector wherever one element is trimmed into or crosses another. Angle brackets are available from BS Fixings in a selection of stainless steel grades and we also supply the component made from galvanised steel. In order to avoid corrosion, galvanised and stainless steel products should never be used in conjunction with one another.
The most physically vulnerable point of an angle bracket is at the bend, which can fail if there is not sufficient rigidity or an excessive load. The superlative angle brackets supplied by BS Fixings have been strengthened at this crucial point. Countersunk holes allow for a flush, professional finish, at once enhancing safety levels and aesthetic value.
