Stainless Steel Dome Head Nut
Dome nuts made from grade 304 (A2) stainless steel. Dome nuts are a different to standard nuts in that their threads are capped by a dome shaped lid. The capped thread can be useful for a number of reasons depending on the application.
If threaded ends on fasteners are left with just a normal hex nut to fasten them they can often look unfinished and untidy. Dome nuts cover the threaded end of a fastener meaning that they are especially suitable for when a nut is used in applications where the aesthetics matter.
The domed head also acts as a shield from any ends on fasteners that could potentially be dangerous such as sharp bolt threads. This helps protect the thread and anything the thread may come into contact with.
Dome nuts can also be referred to as cap nuts, blind nuts, crown nuts, acorn nuts and dome hex nuts.

We offer free next day delivery to UK Mainland for all orders over £50. Any orders below £50 are subject to a £5.99 delivery charge (all charges ex VAT).

These delivery options are available at an extra charge. Delivery prices are shown at checkout stage. Orders need to be placed before 1pm Monday - Friday (working days) for delivery on the following working day.
International Delivery

Republic of Ireland
All shipments going to Republic Of Ireland will be sent on DAP terms. Please note that when the goods arrive in ROI the customer will be required to pay import tax and any necessary import duties before the goods are released.
Highlands, Channel and offshore islands
For this area, there is an extra charge per consignment that will be shown at the checkout stage.
