Description

Specifically formulated to help clean and remove bird and pigeon droppings. This is useful prior to the installation of Bird Prevention Spikes. This product is designed to make the cleaning of ledges or window sills quicker and easier. 

In order to install bird prevention spikes, the surfaces and ledges must be clean to ensure a firm fix when the bases of the spikes are glued down. This product provides the added benefit of disinfecting the area, killing off the dangerous bacteria lurking in bird droppings that can cause all kinds of health issues.
 
How to Use
It is recommended to spray Germ Clear™ directly onto the bird droppings from a distance of 10 – 15 cm, to damp them down. Leave the spray to soak in for approximately 60 seconds to ensure the formulation can work. We recommend soaking the area completely to gain full penetration into the driest bird droppings. 

After 60 seconds, use a metal scraper to remove the larger bits of droppings. Respray the area then use a stiff brush to remove further droppings. Finally, respray again and wipe the area clean using a damp cloth. Leave it to fully dry before installing pigeon spikes.

Order before 2pm on a work day and next day delivery is offered on all our standard products to UK mainland customers.We offer free delivery for all orders over £50 (ex VAT). (UK Mainland Only).

AM Delivery

We now offer a morning delivery service to receive your goods either before 12 or even 10:30 (UK Mainland Only)

A Saturday delivery is offered to UK mainland customers.You will receive an email where you can confirm the delivery price if you are happy with it. Different package weights will have different prices.

 

International Delivery

We deliver all across the globe using a highly trustworthy courier. At the checkout stage, select the country that you would like the goods to be delivered.Then you will receive an email where you can confirm the delivery price if you are happy with it. Different countries will have different lead times and prices.

Delivery Charges

Below is the standard tariff for guidance purposes. Actual costs will be confirmed at point of sale and any variances you will be notified within 24 working hours of receipt of order.

The deliveries below are for mainland UK, for Highlands, Channel and offshore islands an extra charge per consignment will be applied as below, we can also arrange Saturday delivery at extra cost.

Returns

In the unlikely circumstance that your order isn't exactly what you required then you can return any item in exchange for a full refund. The item must be unused, undamaged and be returned within 28 days of when you placed your order. The item must be delivered back to our depot at your expense and with your order number included.

Opening Hours

We are open Monday to Friday 8.30 AM - 5 PM so any orders outside of those hours including weekends and Bank Holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Late Delivery?

We will always aim to get delivery on time but as we are dependant on a courier service we can never completely guarantee this. If we hear that your delivery will be delayed then we will keep you updated as to its whereabouts. If you find that your order hasn't been delivered on time then please let us know and we will try to find where your order is and why it is late. Email info@bsfixings.co.uk

All deliveries must be signed for and it is vital that you examine your parcel before signing for it,  otherwise it may result in the carrier denying any responsibility for loss or damage that you later discover, then no claims can be accepted.

If the packaging is damaged in any way, write 'damaged' on the delivery note.
