• These black solar panel mesh speed clips provide a simple and secure way to attach bird-proofing mesh around the perimeter of a solar array.
• The clips pass through the apertures in the mesh and fit over the front edge of the solar panel frame, holding the mesh firmly in position. This creates a physical barrier that helps prevent pigeons and other birds from accessing and nesting beneath the panels.
• Unlike permanent push-fit fixings, speed clips can be removed by reversing the installation process. This allows sections of mesh to be taken down when access is required for panel cleaning, inspection or maintenance.
• Choose from 30mm, 35mm or 40mm clips according to the depth of the solar panel frame. The correct frame depth should be measured before ordering.

Installation guidance

• Hold the solar mesh against the edge of the panel, pass the speed clip through a mesh aperture and push it securely over the front of the panel frame.
• Speed clips should be installed approximately every 200mm, which is around five clips per metre.
• The installation guide recommends allowing approximately five to six clips per metre when calculating the quantity required. 
• Where two sections of mesh meet, overlap them by three mesh apertures.
• A fixing clip should be placed through the middle aperture, with stainless steel ties used to secure the mesh sections together.
