The Narrow Steel Bird Prevention Spikes are a great way of deterring pigeons and other birds from your building. The spikes are high-quality 304-grade stainless steel pins, ensuring no rusting will occur. This durable Bird Prevention Spike has been tried and tested on ledges with a depth of 1 to 4 inches (2.5 cm to 10 cm). The high-quality product is suitable against even the heaviest bird or pigeon infestations. 
 
Sizing
The Bird Spikes are sold in metres. Each metre consists of three 334 mm (13 inches) sections. For shorter lengths, the base of the product can be snapped into lengths from just 3cm (1 inch) long. Along the base, there are 9 snap points. 
 
Ledge Protection
Our Narrow Steel Bird Spikes will protect a depth of ledge of up to 4 inches (10cm). If the ledge width is 10 cm or more, a second set of spikes can be attached, leaving a very small gap between the pin tops. Alternatively, our Wide Steel Bird Prevention Spikes will protect ledges up to 8 inches (20cm). 

Humane
All of our bird spikes are humane. The spikes simply act as a barrier, making it difficult for pigeons or birds to land on the ledge. The plastic spikes do not cause injuries to the birds as no contact is made. 
 
How to Install
Our Narrow Steel Bird Spikes are very simple to install. We recommend using Bird Spike Fixing Silicone to attach the base of the spike strips to the ledge for a quick and permanent fix. Each section (334mm) of the product has 9 cross-shaped holes along the base. When using fixing silicone the adhesive will go through the holes, forming cross-shaped rivets. This locks the spikes in place. The holes can also be used to nail or screw the product to the surface.

International Delivery

Republic of Ireland

All shipments going to Republic Of Ireland will be sent on DAP terms. Please note that when the goods arrive in ROI the customer will be required to pay import tax and any necessary import duties before the goods are released.
