Position overview:

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Executive with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage new customers within the building/ construction/ hardware sector. By generating leads and building relationships, you will work towards achieving personal and teams sales targets. You will have the freedom to bring new ideas and show your skills, whilst having the friendly support of the small team.

The role will involve:

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Generate leads while exploring new business areas to sell into
  • Reaching out to prospective new customers
  • Telephone/Email/ Face-to-face communications with customers
  • Outbound visits to customers
  • Freedom to bring ideas for new products to add to our product range

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a sales role
  • Experience in the construction/ building/ hardware sector
  • Good commercial awareness of the industry
  • Excellent communication skills via email, telephone and face-to-face
  • A full UK driving licence and own car
  • Proactive and results-driven
  • Self-motivated and confident
  • Adaptable and open to change
