Applications
- Construction and Industrial Applications: Commonly used in roofing and cladding to secure panels and prevent movement or wind damage. Also used for piping and tubing to secure insulation around pipes or tubes in plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Packaging: Commonly used to seal pallets, crates, heavy-duty boxes, or containers, ready for shipping.
- Cable Management: Used to bundle cables for telecommunications, construction, and power distribution.
- Signage: Can be used for outdoor signage. However, we recommend using our Stainless Steel Sign Banding for heavy-duty signs.
- Agriculture: Used for staking trees to provide support as they grow. Also used for securing fences or gates.
- Marine Applications: For any marine applications, we recommend using Grade 316 for its higher resistance to corrosion.
To summarise, stainless steel banding can be used in a wide range of applications due to its corrosion resistance, durability, and high strength.
Which Grade to Choose?
- Grade 304: Non-magnetic and offers good corrosion resistance. It includes low levels of carbon, making it versatile and widely used.
- Grade 316: Our higher-grade value banding. Useful when a more corrosion-resistant banding is needed, particularly in marine environments.
