- The V26 Traditional Double Triangle Wall Tie offers a reliable solution for tying together the two leaves of a cavity wall, enabling them to perform as a single structural unit.
- Featuring a traditional double triangle design and an integrated multidrip feature
- This wall tie effectively prevents moisture from bridging the cavity, helping maintain the integrity and thermal performance of the wall construction.
- Also available in Boxes of 250
Performance
- Non-combustible as defined in National Building Regulations
- Excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years
- Tested as Type B (acoustic/sound) and Type 2 & 3 (strength) to BS EN 845-1
- Meets dynamic stiffness requirements of <113 MN/m³, with a measured value of only 12.5 MN/m³ in a 100mm cavity
- deal for external walls at a standard density of 2.5 ties per square metre

- 150mm – 250mm (Type 2 ties): Suitable for buildings up to 15m high on flat sites where the basic wind speed does not exceed 31 m/s and altitude is ≤150m above sea level
- 275mm & 300mm (Type 3 ties): Suitable for flat sites where the basic wind speed does not exceed 27 m/s and altitude is ≤150m above sea level
