What is a Bandfix® Bantam Banding Tool, and How Do You Use It?
Here at BS Fixings, we have been specialists within the stainless steel and fixing industry for over 20 years, and our product range has grown whilst we have grown too! Our parent company BS Stainless are experts in everything stainless steel and have developed an extensive range of Bandfix® products to offer our customers.
The stainless steel banding range by Bandfix® is one of our most versatile and popular product categories, available to purchase in 201, 304, and 316 grades to suit a variety of environments. Stainless steel banding is perfect for bundling cables and hoses, insulation, and strapping, and can easily be fitted with the selection of banding tools we have in stock.
Bandfix® Bantam Banding Tool
To support you with your banding endeavors, the Bandfix® Bantam Banding Tool is a fantastic tool to ensure you achieve high-quality results. The Bantam tool, also known as a ‘pistol grip’, is used for fast tensioning and cutting, similar to the original Bandfix® Banding Tool, but with a much more compact design. The Bantam has been designed with the end-user in mind, to ensure you can secure the banding in place with ease.
It has been manufactured with a 3-way handle, which can be adjusted for one or two-handed tensioning and cutting, depending on your requirements. Its compact design allows users to fit banding in tight areas with minimal access, offering a greater amount of flexibility which is harder to achieve with larger banding tools.
Just like all of the other Bandfix® products, the Bantam Tool is made out of top-quality, robust materials, to create a tool which is functional and long-lasting. The head of the tool is plated in a zinc coating, to resist against corrosion in environments that are exposed to chemicals and damper conditions. The handle is manufactured out of a blue easy-grip material, that allows you to have full control over the tool.
Watch the video below to see the Bantam tool in action, you will see how simple and easy it is to use!
The tool can be used with any banding product within the Bandfix® range, as long as the steel strapping is 12.7mm (1/2”) and 20mm (3/4”) in width.
If you would like to purchase a complete banding kit, then the Bantam tool is compatible with:
- Bandfix® Stainless Steel Banding
- Bandfix® Stainless Steel Sign Banding
- Bandfix® Stainless Steel Banding 20kg Coils
- Bandfix® Stainless Steel Banding Clips
- Bandfix® Stainless Steel Banding Buckles
As a bonus, the Bandfix® Bantam Banding Tool is currently on offer with 25% off, which is a deal you do not want to miss out on! This offer is on for a limited time only, so if you’re interested in purchasing a new banding tool, the Bantam is a great option.
